1. Secure the Vehicle — Park the vehicle safely on a level surface and use wheel chocks before performing any electronic parking brake work.
   
2. Prepare the Power Source — Use a fully charged compatible 12V auxiliary battery and make sure the tool's fuse is intact before connecting it.
   
3. Connect the Battery Clamps — Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (–) terminal.
   
4. Connect the EPB Motor — Attach the appropriate output leads from the BrakeRescue Tool to the electronic parking brake motor or compatible external EPB connection.
   
5. Operate the Motor — Use the rocker switch briefly in the required direction to apply or release the electronic parking brake motor.
   
6. Stop at the End Position — Release the switch immediately when the motor reaches its end position or begins running freely, then disconnect the tool once servicing is complete.
