- Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal.
- Connect the red test lead to the appropriate measurement terminal.
- Press the power button to switch the meter on.

- Place the probes on the appropriate test points and read the measurement on the display.
- Use NCV mode when checking for the presence of nearby AC voltage without direct probe contact.
- Connect the included temperature probe when measuring temperature.
- Press the flashlight button when working in dimly lit areas.
- Disconnect the probes and turn the meter off after testing.
